Om Shanti Shanti!

Continuing our narrative on well being - peace of mind (Shanth) is critical in this covid , lockdown times more than ever. Quickly few tips I aspire to stick by :

A) sleep well - this is mostly underrated and understated, the power of good night's sleep on your mind and body are well documented. I vouch by Matt walker - https://www.gatesnotes.com/Books/Why-We-Sleep

https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly90YWxrc2F0Z29vZ2xlLmxpYnN5bi5jb20vcnNz&ep=14&episode=ZmVkYzZlNzAtZWQ5OC00N2Y0LTg0NWUtZjFiOTE5OTEyMjcz

B) pick up meditation any form that regulates breathing - I tend to follow the tried and tested meditation (not religious but spiritual practice)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandhyavandanam

C)pick up a routine or hobby that is very much outside of office work - Music is something that works for me .This should be a frequent one and not once in a blue moon indulgence .

D) importantly have patience 'nidhanam'..when someone says or does something you don't approve and cause anger ..it is important to take a deep breath sit back and think what could be the context , y a person did that - give ppl benefit of doubt and refrain from quick judgements ..this will keep tempers and heat to a negligible level ..

Right until next time - on Shanti !
